The GF and a Truck

The corner of 2nd Street and Cerntral Avenue (aka the highway), here in Grand Forks. Shot all the way back on the 15th of Septembre, this year, at about 7:30pm.

Across the street, on the corner, is the GF, one of only four bars in the City of Grand Forks. The other bars in town are the Station House Pub, Clyde's Brew & Cue, and the Winnie.

Clyde's is down 2nd street, two blocks to the right, has three pool tables and what passes for a dance floor around here, but is an expensive place to tie one on.

The Winnie is two blocks back, up Central, and has inexpensive draught beer (it's sad, but a pint at the Winnie, regular, costs less than a pint on special used to cost at the on campus bar where I went to college 2 years ago).

The Station House is, well it's not downtown and is in fact roughly twice as far away from my house as all the other bars, so I've never been there drinking (great food though).

And the GF? Well, at current, they have karaoke every Thursday and Saturday, and a pint runs mid way between Clyde's and the Winnie.
