When I first chose to show this shot right now, I thought it was because it was going to be a cinch to edit (and it was). But, as I logged in to post, I remembered a Tyee story I read earlier today, about how a shitload of quality timber is being burnt as slash by B.C. forest companies.
This shot is of the Pope & Talbot yard in Grand Forks. P&T temporarily shut down their mill in Midway this spring/summer, because they didn't have enough logs to maintain operations at all of their mills.
